Supported Living

Aspire operate six supported living services providing a modern, progressive service for adults living in their own home, which may or may not be shared, enabling individuals to live safely and independently in the comfort of their own surroundings.

It is our aim to help service users achieve the best possible quality of life, whilst ensuring that their dignity and privacy is respected. This is done by supporting and encouraging our service users to exercise choice in all aspects of their daily lives, personalising their package of care to suit their own needs and aspirations in order to maintain their independence.  This might include, for example;

• visiting, belonging, sharing and using the facilities available in the ordinary places that define local community life.
• developing autonomy and self-determination in day-to-day matters as well as in the major decisions that people make, such as where to live and with whom.
• gaining more skills and abilities to perform functional and meaningful activities with whatever assistance is required.
• building a network of personal relationships, and making a valued contribution to these relationships.

Our services are provided in a sensitive and caring manner, in accordance with the needs, choices and aspirations of each person, and in an environment free from abusive situations.

This high standard of care is closely monitored to ensure we meet our objectives.

We help you achieve the best quality of life, whilst making sure we respect your dignity and privacy. We do this by supporting and encouraging you or your loved one to exercise choice in all aspects of daily life.

Supported living combines all the benefits of independent living with the warmth, safety and security of community and belonging, and dedicated help on hand when you need it. It’s like a community within the community, setup to help you maintain your independence whilst developing greater autonomy and self-determination. It helps you learn life skills and empowers you to engage in meaningful activities, build confidence and contribute to the community and wider society.
